Do you have a story of a remarkable animal encounter? It could be with a mammal, a fish, amphibian, even an insect. (Please no stories about viruses, bacteria or fungi—let's face it, they're simply not cute.)
I am writing and illustrating a new book about animal encounter stories my readers have sent me. I will narrate and interpret from what I learned in my book What the Rabbits Taught Me. If you're interested in adding your story to my anthology, please take a look at What the Rabbits Taught Me to get a sense of the style of my writing and hand-drawn illustrations. Reading the book will give you an idea of my approach to animal wisdom and what it can teach us about living our own lives. You can download a digital copy for only $8.95 by clicking here.
This animal encounter anthology will include your story as the source material and will then be expanded and informed with additional story-telling based my own animal experiences. This book will be filled with many sketches and drawings to illustrate the stories. Each story will have a truth meter icon to let readers know how much I cleaved to an original story as submitted and how much I digressed to illustrate a point or to entertain.
